Who should attend: 

This course is aimed at 2nd line IT Support Technicians who need to implement, support, troubleshoot and manage Active Directory and Group Policy in a networked domain environment.

This course will teach you about Active Directory domain and forest environments and how to setup new domains and forests. You will learn how to manage the recycle bin and how to setup organisational units as well as how to delegate administrative control of AD objects and manage disk quotas. You will learn about the different roles servers play in Active Directory and how to troubleshoot and recover active directory. You will also learn about group policy and how to manage client machines through group policy. Finally you will learn how to bulk import data into an Active Directory environment.

Pre-requisites: 

Delegates should have a good working knowledge of managing Windows Desktops and Windows Servers as can be gained from attending our Windows Desktop Support and Windows Server Administration courses.
